Paris Air Show 2025: a great success for AFI KLM E&M

The Paris Air Show 2025 is now behind us – and what an impressive edition it was! From 16th to 22nd June, this biennial world's largest air show attracted over 300,000 visitors from around the globe. It was the place to explore the aviation of tomorrow. AFI KLM E&M was prominently present and showcased its best attributes: innovative, international, and ready for the future. Our visibility was enhanced by the presence of our sales and management teams. They engaged in discussions with customers, strategic partners, and high-ranking government officials who visited at the beginning of the week. This highlighted the significance of our MRO activities within the broader AF-KL Group framework. A key outcome of these meetings was the signing of several new support agreements. The signing ceremony with Saudia Group, Air Austral, Salam Air, and many other announcements can be found later in the E&M Scope. These contracts strengthen our position as a trusted MRO partner and underscore the confidence that customers place in us. They form a solid foundation for long-term collaboration in technical support and fleet maintenance. There was also considerable attention given to our stand in the showcase area, thanks in part to the teams from the MRO Lab, Additive Maintenance, CRMA & Prognos®. The live demonstrations of parts repair on a 3D-printed LEAP engine, Engine Virtual Run Up, and much more attracted many visitors. Attendees were offered a glimpse into our technological ambitions and innovative maintenance solutions. It was a great way to demonstrate where we are headed as an organisation and what we already have to offer. On the first day, we kicked off with a well-attended press conference that attracted a lot of media attention. During this event, our EVPs discussed the latest developments within our MRO organisation. Additionally, dozens of conversations were held with (potential) customers and partners. During a specially organised LEAP conference, we discussed with more than 20 customers the expansion of our LEAP capabilities and the initiation of new contracts. Below, you can watch the video that was used during the opening of the LEAP conference. The evening concluded with a customer event at the Opéra Garnier. It was a successful evening that certainly contributed to strengthening our customer relationships.

The numerous activities also caught the attention of the Dutch and French governments. During this week, we had the honour of welcoming dignitaries such as the Ministers of Labour and Transport and the President of the Île-de-France region. This was a significant recognition of our social and economic role within the aviation industry. The last three days of the event were dedicated to HR activities. Why this exhibition is important for us Our presence at the Paris Air Show is about more than just visibility. It is an opportunity to meet customers, build new partnerships, showcase innovation, and attract new talent. In short, it helps us further achieve our strategic goals – commercially, technologically, and as an employer. We look back on this edition with pride and thank everyone who contributed to this success!
