Mathieu Essenberg EVP Engineering & Maintenance

Dear colleagues, Last week, the biennial Paris Air Show took place in Paris, an event I had attended before, back in 1996 with my father. During this event, AFI KLM E&M was well-represented by a team of EVPs, VPs, and colleagues from the AFI KLM EMCO Sales team. We had the opportunity to meet many of our customers and key suppliers. With some of them, including AerCap, Air Austral, and SalamAir, we made significant progress and signed promising contracts. More details on this can be found later in this E&M Scope Special.

On the first day, we held a successful press conference, which attracted around 30 international journalists. Together with Anne Brachet and Géry Mortreux, I provided an update on the latest developments in the MRO market and our strategic ambitions in the areas of digitalization, technological innovation and recruitment. The day concluded at the impressive Opéra Garnier, where we shared a moment of appreciation and connection with our esteemed customer

Although I was only able to attend the first two days of the Paris Air Show, it was valuable to be present and meet with both customers and suppliers.
