E&M in action

Prognos for Aircraft go-live for Virgin Atlantic
In November, we celebrated the official go-live of Prognos for Aircraft for Virgin Atlantic Airways. This launch marks a significant milestone, not only for our team but also for our partnership with Virgin Atlantic as they start implementing Predictive Maintenance practices in their operation.
Two Virgin Atlantic Engineers visited Schiphol East for a full day of onboarding. During the day, we familiarized them with the user interface of the Prognos application and discussed the systems for which predictive algorithms are available. We also reviewed the workflow, including how to manage and act on alerts, to ensure a seamless transition into their new predictive maintenance processes. It is great to see that Virgin Atlantic shares our enthusiasm and vision for predictive maintenance! In the coming months, we will continue to support Virgin Atlantic in using the application effectively. This will include interpreting alerts in conjunction with the aircraft maintenance history to provide actionable advice. By looking ahead and spotting system degradation at an early stage, further damage and sudden failures can be prevented. This will help prevent delays and potential cancellations for Virgin Atlantic while also significantly reducing component repair costs for E&M! The Prognos for Aircraft team
