Optimisation of logistics processes within KLM E&M

As Airframe, we contribute to the availability of the KLM fleet. As COO Maarten Stienen pointed out in the release on the Q3 quarterly figures 2024, it's essential that we deploy the KLM fleet effectively and keep it flying on schedule.

Within the Airframe Operational Improvement Plan, one of the focus points is delivering our aircraft on time. We know that one of the causes of stalled maintenance checks is the waiting time for equipment. Although this is a global problem, we see opportunities for improvement within E&M's logistics processes. Within the improvement plan, colleague Rene Kruithof is responsible for optimising these processes. We're working to speed up delivery times for materials already in stock within E&M and have already hit our first milestone.
