HR Kiosk 55+ – Support for experienced employees at E&M

The HR Kiosk 55+ has been live since September and we would like to draw attention to this valuable initiative once again. The HR Kiosk 55+ offers employees aged 55 and over within the divisions E&M, Cargo and Ground Services additional support regarding important topics such as pension, health, personal development and career choices.

Why the HR Kiosk 55+? At KLM, we believe it is important that our employees remain happy, healthy and well-informed, even in the final phase of their working lives. The HR Kiosk 55+ has been specifically set up to support employees in this phase, so that they can optimally benefit from the available HR regulations and services. An important advantage of the HR Kiosk 55+ is its accessibility. Research shows that older employees sometimes have difficulty finding and understanding digital HR regulations. The Kiosk therefore offers not only digital support, but also personal guidance in various ways: via e-mail, telephone and on location. What can the HR Kiosk 55+ help with? Employees can ask questions about three main topics: Pension and (part-time) retirement KLM supports employees in their transition to retirement by providing advice on existing regulations, such as the Temporary Early Retirement Scheme (T-RVU), early retirement or part-time work prior to retirement. Healthy aging It is essential to stay healthy and energetic, even after your working life. The HR Kiosk 55+ offers advice on various health options within KLM, so that you stay fit for the future. Personal development and career choices Working life does not simply stop when you are 55 or older. The HR Kiosk helps you make the right choices for your career and personal development in the final phase of your career. How does it work? The HR Kiosk 55+ is easily accessible via various channels:

  • Email for written questions and advice.
  • Telephone for direct contact and personal guidance.
  • Physical location: On certain days, employees can go to a physical location for face-to-face advice.

Location and times for E&M employees

Trial period and future plans The HR Kiosk 55+ is currently a trial that will run until March 2025. During this trial period, we will collect feedback to determine whether and how we will further expand this service, for example to other divisions within KLM. We encourage employees aged 55 and over to make use of this unique support and look forward to the impact the HR Kiosk 55+ will have on the work experience of our experienced colleagues.
