Schiphol tightens visitor access policy from 2025

From 1st January 2025, Schiphol has adjusted its policy on issuing visitor passes in line with European laws and regulations. Visitors can still be escorted to secure areas, but requests must meet specific criteria, and the necessity and justification must be clearly substantiated. Criteria voor bezoekerspassen:

• Legitimate reason or operational necessity
• Duration and frequenxy of access

Examples of permitted situations:

• Short-term activities (max. 10 days per year) y e.g., suppliers and costumers
• Functional tours

Consequences of incorrect use: In the event of unauthorised applications, the companion's Schiphol Pass may be confiscated.
